Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
Volunteering at the Status of Women Office will give you the opportunity to gain experience and develop leadership skills in the areas of administration, outreach, promotions and event planning within the context of a University equity office.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Please note: There are no active volunteer opportunities with the SOWO at this time. Please check back regularly for updates.There are two main areas you can help with:
- Office Work – help with the ongoing administration of the office. Please commit to 2 months of volunteering in the office for a 2-hour block of time, once a week.
- Special Events – help with a specific project/event either in planning, managing or assisting at the event.
Work/Study
Thank you for your interest in working at the Status of Women office. We have completed our hiring for the 2011-12 academic year. Please check this space in April 2012 for future work/study opportunities.
