MIT 2011 Report on Women in Science and Engineering

March 21 2011 - MIT issued a 2011 report on the Status of Women Faculty in the Schools of Science and Engineering at MIT. The report indicates that there has been significant improvement in the numbers, but stereotypes persist re: gender and family roles, with some old and some new tensions.
MIT News article states that 'Follow-up to previous reports shows improvement, but that still more can be done'.
The New York Times published an article related to the MIT report titled 'Gains, and Drawbacks, for Female Professors'.
